About Batik Tiga Negeri

Batik Tiga Negeri ("Three Regions Batik") is one of the most prestigious and complex forms of Indonesian batik. Traditionally, the creation of Tiga Negeri involved dyeing processes across three important batik centers, each contributing its signature color and expertise:

Red from Lasem
Blue from Pekalongan
Sogan brown from Solo

This unique collaborative process required exceptional craftsmanship and a long production period, making Tiga Negeri textiles among the most treasured Indonesian batik collections.

Craftsmanship

Every detail of this textile was created entirely by hand using the traditional batik tulis technique. The artisan carefully applies hot wax (malam) with a canting to create the motifs, followed by multiple stages of coloring, dyeing, and wax removal.

The creation of a single Tiga Negeri cloth requires great patience and precision, often taking several months depending on the complexity of the design. This dedication results in a one-of-a-kind textile artwork that carries generations of Indonesian cultural heritage.

Traditionally, batik cloth was worn as a jarik (waist wrapper) by both men and women in Java before Western-style clothing became widely adopted. Today, antique batik textiles are treasured as collectible heirlooms, wearable art, elegant interior décor, and cultural masterpieces.

Return And Refund Policy

Acceptable Reasons for Return:

Size does not match, applicable only for shoes and clothings.
Other reasons which fall under our responsibility, such as: brands proven as ingenuine, batiks proven as not fully hand drawn, uninformed defects, and size or color information mistakes.

Return Procedures:

Return for acceptable reasons can be requested within a maximum 2 days after an item is received.
We will confirm the return to be approved and request you to provide bank account information.
For every return we will fully refund the product's price only.
Refunds are processed within 2-3 working days after we receive complete information of your bank account.

Additional Policies:

If a shipment is lost, delays, or damaged during transit, the customer must file a claim with the shipping company. Lemarilawas is available to assist with claims and customs, the customer is responsible for submitting the claim.
