About Batik Kudus

Batik Kudus is one of Indonesia’s distinctive batik traditions that developed through the cultural interaction between Javanese, coastal, and Peranakan communities. Unlike many coastal batiks known for bright colors, Kudus batik often incorporates elegant sogan tones combined with sophisticated floral designs.

Craftsmanship

Every detail of this textile was created entirely by hand using the traditional Batik Tulis method. The artisan carefully applies hot wax (malam) with a canting tool to form the motifs, followed by multiple stages of coloring, dyeing, and wax removal.

The dense isen-isen patterns require exceptional patience and precision, making each Batik Tulis Kudus a one-of-a-kind textile artwork that carries generations of Indonesian heritage.

Return Procedures:

Return for acceptable reasons can be requested within a maximum 2 days after an item is received.
We will confirm the return to be approved and request you to provide bank account information.
For every return we will fully refund the product's price only.
Refunds are processed within 2-3 working days after we receive complete information of your bank account.

Additional Policies:

If a shipment is lost, delays, or damaged during transit, the customer must file a claim with the shipping company. Lemarilawas is available to assist with claims and customs, the customer is responsible for submitting the claim.
